Our story
Every artist deserves a space where their art can be seen.
After years spent in the art scene, in constant search of new opportunities and exhibition spaces, we realized one thing - the artist's path is often lonely and full of obstacles. Every exhibition, every meeting with curators and collectors was a step forward, but it also showed us how difficult it can be to break through if you don't have the right opportunities.We had moments of euphoria when our work found its place in galleries and collections, but also moments of doubt when we stood in front of locked doors, looking for a way to move on. It was then that the idea began to dawn in us - what if we looked at things differently? What if we created a space that supported artists the way we would like to be supported?And so NOSY GALLERY was born - a gallery that we founded not only as an exhibition space, but as a platform that connects, inspires and gives a chance to those who are looking for their place in the contemporary art world. We wanted to create a space where artists feel welcome, where they get the opportunity to present their work, make contacts and grow.

IT WAS ALWAYS CLEAR
From the very beginning we knew we wanted more than just "another gallery". Our vision was clear - to organize carefully curated exhibitions, to collaborate with talented artists from around the world, and to bring art where people don't expect it.That's why we first decided to do pop-up exhibitions and art markets, which offer new ways to bring art to the people who will love it.It makes us happy to see artists coming together, to see their work being brought to the attention of collectors and critics. NOSY GALLERY is writing a story about a shared passion for art, about support, and that every artist deserves a space where their work can be seen.

Magdaléna Ševčík
Founder and head curator
Magdaléna Ševčík began her career as a freelance curator, where she quickly established herself. For her work, she won the prestigious award for young curators, the Radislav Matuštík Award. However, after several years of successful curating, when she organized dozens of exhibitions, she decided to follow her own creative impulses and embarked on a solo career as a painter. Her paintings have won acclaim for their strong emotional depth and original approach to abstraction. Now, Magdaléna has partially returned to her roots and has established her own gallery with the aim of supporting artists on their journey. She offers them exactly what she herself was once looking for - a space to display their work, opportunities for sales and, above all, personal interest and support for their work. She sees the gallery as a place of dialogue and inspiration, where art and artists can meet the public and tell their powerful stories through their work.

Currently preparing future exhibitions in Vienna (AT) and Berlin (DE) and accepting artists proposals.NOSY GALLERY presents a diverse range of solo and group shows, connecting local and global perspectives in contemporary art. Actively engaged in the international art scene, the gallery organizes approximately ten exhibitions per year and two art markets.
